"Device-triggered chain reaction" automation allows you to control iotty devices based on the activation/action of another installed iotty device. For example, have the bedroom light automatically turn on when the bathroom light is turned off, or turn off the hallway light 10 minutes after it has been turned on.
1) In the iotty app, press the '"Automations"' icon , the second one on the bottom left.
2) This takes you to the Automations page; to create a new Automation, select the ""+"" sign at the top right of the page.
3) Scroll down and select ""Chain reaction triggered by device"".
4) You must now assign a name to the automation, which will be displayed on the automation page:
a) Select the triggering event: choose an iotty device and the triggering event (it is switched on/off). Click on ''save''.
b) Click on ''add command'' to choose the action(s) that will occur when this automation is triggered.
-You can select a command for switching the lights on or off.
-You can select a control for the plate to adjust the intensity of the backlight.
-You can select a scene to be activated
c) Choose a possible delay for this automation (between 0, 1, 2, 5, 10 or 30 minutes later).
d) Once you have made your selections, select the ' < ' arrow at the top left and press Save at the bottom of the screen to create the automation.
You can now see the automation ' Chain reaction triggered by the device' in the Automation section of your app. If you need to change the automation, you can do so by selecting ' > ' .
